SHL EnterprisesLIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY

Governance & compliance

Standards we hold ourselves to.

A small company can still be a well-run one. These are the controls and commitments that apply to SHL Enterprises LLC and to every brand it operates.

Corporate

Corporate standing

The company maintains good standing with the Wyoming Secretary of State, files its annual report on time and keeps a registered agent in the state as required by statute. Its formation record is publicly verifiable.

Separation of the entity

SHL Enterprises LLC maintains its own bank accounts, books and records, entirely separate from the personal finances of its member. Company funds are not commingled with personal funds. Owner distributions, where they occur, are recorded as such.

Books and records

The company keeps contemporaneous accounting records of revenue, cost of goods, advertising spend, refunds and chargebacks, supported by platform and processor statements. Records are retained so that any period can be reconstructed and evidenced on request.

Tax

The company holds a federal Employer Identification Number issued by the Internal Revenue Service and meets its US federal and state filing obligations. Sales tax, value added tax and import duties are collected and remitted in each market in which an obligation to do so arises.

Customers

Honest presentation

Product pages must describe what is actually being sold. We do not advertise specifications, materials, origin, endorsements or results that cannot be substantiated, and we do not use countdown timers, invented scarcity or fabricated reviews to pressure a purchase.

Disclosure before checkout

Total price, shipping cost, expected delivery window, return rights and the identity of the selling company are disclosed before payment, not after it.

Delivery

Orders are dispatched within the published window and shipped with tracking. Where a delay occurs, customers are notified proactively and offered the choice of waiting or cancelling for a full refund.

Returns and refunds

Each brand publishes a return policy and honours it. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We do not obstruct, delay or condition a refund that is properly due.

European Union customers

Where we sell to consumers in the European Union, EU distance-selling rules apply in addition to our own policy. Those customers receive the statutory fourteen-day right of withdrawal, the legal guarantee of conformity, and pre-contractual disclosure in the language of their market. Where customs duties or import taxes fall due on a cross-border order, they are disclosed before checkout rather than presented as a surprise on delivery.

Support

Every brand provides a working contact route with a published response window. Complaints are answered by a person, in the language of the market, and resolved directly wherever it is within our power to do so.

Payments integrity

Disputes are an operational failure, not a cost of doing business.

We treat chargeback and dispute rates as a primary health metric of a brand, not as an afterthought. Sustained deterioration is grounds to pause or discontinue a product line.

  • I

    Regulated processors only

Card acceptance is arranged through established, regulated payment processors under agreements in the company’s own name. We do not use aggregated, borrowed or third-party merchant accounts, and we do not process payments on behalf of any other party.

  • II

    Clear billing descriptors

Statement descriptors are set so that a customer can recognise the charge, and each descriptor maps to a brand with a live contact route. Unrecognised-charge disputes are treated as a defect to be fixed.

  • III

    Monitoring and thresholds

Dispute and chargeback rates are monitored continuously at brand and product level against internal thresholds set below card-scheme limits. Breaching a threshold triggers review of the product, the creative and the fulfillment path.

  • IV

    Refund before dispute

Where a customer has a legitimate grievance, our standing instruction is to refund rather than to contest. We would rather absorb the cost of a return than defend an indefensible transaction.

  • V

    No card data held

The company neither stores nor has access to full payment card numbers. Card data is handled exclusively by our processors within their own compliant environments.

Financial crime

Lawful business only

SHL Enterprises LLC trades in physical consumer goods and derives its revenue from retail sales to end customers. The company does not provide money transmission, currency exchange, payment processing or any financial service, and it does not accept or make payments on behalf of third parties.

Sanctions and restricted parties

The company does not knowingly transact with individuals, entities or jurisdictions subject to sanctions administered by the US Office of Foreign Assets Control. Orders to sanctioned destinations are not accepted.

Source and use of funds

Company funds originate from customer sales settled by our payment processors and from capital contributed by the member. The company is able to evidence the origin of its receipts through processor settlement reports and platform order records.

Cooperation

We respond promptly and fully to information requests from our banking and payment partners, including requests for transaction records, supplier documentation and corporate documents.

Data & IP

Data minimisation

We collect only the personal data required to fulfil an order, provide support and meet our legal obligations. Customer data is never sold or rented. Our full practices are set out in the Privacy Policy.

Processors

Personal data is held with established commerce, payment, logistics and support providers under their standard data-processing terms, and access within the company is limited to those who need it.

Intellectual property

Brand names, product imagery and marketing copy used across the portfolio are created for us, licensed to us, or supplied by our manufacturing partners with the right to use them. We do not deal in counterfeit or infringing goods, and we act promptly on any properly substantiated rights complaint.

Reporting a concern

Rights holders, customers and partners may raise a concern at [email protected]. Substantiated complaints are acted on within five business days.
